Kalogirou, Konstantina (Dr.)

Konstantina Kalogirou is a Lecturer in Teacher Education and Professional Learning at the School of Education and Social Policy at Cardiff Metropolitan University and teaches both in the BA (Hons) Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and in the PGCE Primary programme. She is also a University tutor for PGCE Primary school placements. Prior to this Konstantina was an English and EAL teacher, and a Deputy Head at the Sixth Form of Cathays High School. She has gained a varied experience across the education sector working as an English Teacher in Greece, England and most recently in Wales. She holds a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, GR. She completed her MA in Applied Theatre: Drama in Educational, Community & Social Contexts at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and she received her PhD in Pedagogy from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Konstantina’s research interests are on Interactive Pedagogy and Second Language Acquisition, particularly on the use of Drama in Education in teaching and learning. She currently studies the different applications of expressive arts and cultural heritage in educational contexts. She has published on Drama in Education, Second Language Acquisition, and Cultural Heritage applications in Education.

Kamermans, Hans (Dr.)

Hans Kamermans is associate professor at the Faculty of Archaeology at Leiden University. He studied ecological prehistory and physical geography in Amsterdam and wrote his PhD thesis on the use of land evaluation in archaeology. In Leiden he teaches archaeological methods and techniques and various courses in computer applications in archaeology.

Kaptijn, Eva (Dr.)

Eva Kaptijn studied Theoretical Archaeology and Archaeology of the southern Levant at Leiden University. In October 2009 she received her doctors degree at Leiden University. In 2009 she joined the Sagalassos Archaeological Research Project at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven as a postdoctoral researcher to carry out the archaeological survey in the territory of Sagalassos.

Aodhán Kelly is a PhD student at the Centre for Manuscript Genetics at the University of Antwerp and one of the Early Stage Researchers within the DiXiT Network. His doctoral research is on the dissemination of digital scholarly editions to broader audiences. Aodhán holds a BA in History and Economics as well as an MLitt in History from Maynooth University in Ireland and worked for several years in digital publishing in the UK.
